Is there anything that i can do to get the color in purpleheart to come back after it has been cut? I just did this J/B cue and it going to have a purpleheart shaft.

As Dick said, Sunlight will bring them back. I recently bought 20 dowels and 20 squares. They looked just like yours, and I was kind of freaked out.
The cuemakers told me the same thing and since then I have rotated all of them giving equal time on a shelf in the kitchen window. They're all a very deep purple just what they should be.
As Dick stated, and also, everytime a cut is made on purpleheart, you will lose the purple for a bit. I have found that you should wait until the purple returns after the final pass and sanding, before putting on a seal coat and top coat of finish. You don't need the color to return between cuts, only between the final cut/sanding and the first coat of sealer.

Purpleheart is a photoreactive wood like cocobolo. UV rays are what change it to purple from the brownish color. When you cut cocobolo it's grey in color then changes to the orange hues.
If you don't have a UV light to put it under for a while. Try Dick's method of leaving it out in the sun for the day. Also I found that just getting it ready to finish and leaving it hang for 3 or 4 days the color will deepen.
Thanks everyone I put the cue in the window for a couple of days taking it out in the afternoon the color came back real quick! No tanning bed needed! LOL!!!
