Problems with 314-2 shaft

I have gone through three 314-2 shafts in the past couple months. I've cracked two ferrules and the other ferrule flew off durring a match. Just curious if anyone else is having these problems or if i got a bad batch.

I've had one 3-4 months, no problems at all. I'll take a close look later, tho.

No, no problems here yet either and I break hard with it once in a while.

I recently had a ferrule come loose on a 314-2 shaft after playing with it for a few months.

I had a run of 3-4 bad 314's probably 6-7 years ago. Each time the ferrule cracked. Shane Sinnott & I became regular pen pals. LOL

Predator replaced every bad shaft and said they were moving the ferrule cutting process in house to avoid the tolerance issues their supplier was having. The final shaft I received is still in play. I did not know they were still having occasional problems.

EDIT: I looked back at the e-mails and it occured in 2000.
