Problems With An Ebay Member (1100.00))

My wife and I got ripped off exactly like this a few years ago. The dispute bounced back and forth for months. The Post office was of little help except to say they would try to track it, etc, etc, etc. We wound up loosing money and no one was happy.

Get your money back NOW, then go pick it up in person for that kind of money.

The situation was bad enough that we basically quit using Ebay for anything of consequence.

Go to paypal now . That s too much money to sit on. If it's a straight deal it will work itself out. I bought 12 sticks on ebay last year. Only one was bad . Sent it back , got my money back. There 's 2 ways this can go. He has your money but you dont have a stick. Or, you have a stick, if it's delivered, but he doesn't have the money. I like the latter. Go to paypal now before he closes his account. Let him call you an a-hole. So what.

Just curious for that kind of money, why it wasn't shipped priority mail, I send tracking numbers for everything I do, it's a no brainer and good common sense as well as courtesy. After three days you have a concern here based on your distance.

Here is my two cents...I have been a seller with ebay for around 10 years? ...or it feels like, but I DON'T use USPS because of thier tracking is so worthless. They track that is has been "accepted" and then "delivered." There is really no inbetween. I would suggest you try DHL or UPS! Much better service! The US Postal service really sucks!

If he can't produce the Ins. number I'd be taking a 3 1/2 hour trip to see him in person. I can't wait until they invent a computer that you can shoot through.Johnnyt

i agree i would make the drive and discuss his health and religous beliefs when you meet him. I'm the nicest guy ever or the worst enimny a man can have, never confuse niceness for softness.

one other thing the post office is terrible and dosent care about you or me, privatly owned curriours like UPS, FedX does theyh nee the business, the govt and postal service dosent give a rats ass about their reputation

Deacon: How's it going? The Ed Young you sold me still hits like a charm.

I was curious as to whether or not you got your cue?

Lessons learned, never buy nor sell anything on eBay. the place has become a niche for scammers and the likes.
