problems with AZB!!!!

I've been having trouble logging on to AZB for the past few weeks now. I get to the main page ok, but when I'm trying to get to the forums, it takes forever to load up. This is with my work CPU, but I've never had issues with it before. What gives? Has anyone had issues bringng up the forums part of AZB? Other that good to see ya'll.:D

I don't have any problems either. It sounds like you might have either a virus or spyware.
 
This happens to me from time to time as well. I think it's due to the high volume of traffic, and people posting.
 
Could be your IT dept. did something overnight that messed with your connection or goes through an extra layer before you can get on.
 
As it turns out, the main AZB site (www.azbilliards.com) and the forums (forums.azbilliards.com), though sharing the domain name, are completely different servers on different networks. Ping each one and you'll see very different IP addresses.

It's likely that the network path to the main site from you is cleaner than is the network path to the forums box from you.

If you're on a Windows box (more than likely), fire up a couple of command prompt boxes, and type in (one in each):

tracert www.azbilliards.com
tracert forums.azbilliards.com

and watch the fun.

Now it also might be some weird DNS issue with your network, that it's got the forums box's DNS info goofed up, and it's taking a while. Or your box may well have bad DNS info for that box cached.
