Hi folks,
For my money Nick Varner should also be included. His totally professional attitude and style scream "gentleman". He always brings a considerate attitude to exhibitions. His demonstrations to pool wannabees are always a pleasure to see. He involves the younger crowd well and brings out many smiles. We need more of this these days. His game is sound. When he plays on less than lightening speed cloth he can display his tremendous stroking capability. Many of the younger pro's play well bunting the balls around on Simonis but falter when posed with slow cloth. His list of Championships reads impressively. In a single word he is quite enviable.

This is a great thread. It shows that there are many pro's out there that help pool grow, help put pool on the map, and give back to the game. Most of us on AZ are quick to bash a pro for any little thing, and I've been guilty a few times myself. But I think this thread shows there are many, many of them that help pool grow, help the youth to come into the game the right way, and 100's of pro's help charities. I think it's time we give them their credit due. Johnnyt
