Yeah, I was just thinking that Corey might turn to the dark side and try to take over the universe. Are you on crack?[/QUOTE]

Tommy, Corey wanted me to say hi to you, thank you for the nice words and wish you a Happy New Year.

This is not the time to evaluate Corey's sportsmanship or demeanor. He is giving back to the game, and for that, he has both my respect and my gratitude.

Hmm, I wonder if he just doesn't like Mika and Ralf? Seems odd, but that must have been it. I guess we all have people we don't get along with. It just seemed odd to me, he would treat these two people poorly or act that way. Of course, I only heard/saw half the story on TV. Hard to make a judgment. I guess I over-reacted.

On the other hand, I don't put up with crap like that when I'm in a match. I really can't believe that those instances don't bother some of you. Only Njhustler1 commented about those situations. It is like you are afraid to talk about it. If it were Earl, this thread would have gone crazy. Man, that guy, Earl, he can draw a crowd. LOL

Mika and Corey always got along great and were good friends. Mika was the one that started acting strange ever since Corey beat him 11-0 in the finals of the 2001 U.S. Open. Corey is also very good friends with Niels and all the other foreign players. I just what I'm trying to say is that Corey doesn't agree with you.

He has more heart than people give him credit for!

I'm kinda uncomfortable going further with this conversation, but I maintain my explaination, though I cannot elaborate on the grounds I will look like a bigger geek. Hopefully we can meet someday and watch all the Star Wars movies... but would we watch them in episode sequence or the order in which they were released?

Why are you uncomfortable...do you need a drink? ;)

I usually watch them the way they were made. Watching them in sequence its kinda confusing. There is quite a few things that doesn't match or sound right when you watch them I through VI.
Anyways perhaps some day on the road we meet and who knows what happen...

No hard feeling for anyone. I just find it funny that I make a comment with reasons, and everyone supports him. I mean a lot of posts in a short period of time. But I call for comments about that behavior in those two instances and no one will touch the post for over 2 hours. The ones who did, still didn't really say anything about it.

It just goes to show that people like to make excuses for their heroes. Hey, I'm no exception. I do the same thing for my heroes. I would even bet money, if I hung around Cory, I'd be a big fan. But I still wouldn't condone that type of behavior, especially on TV. People's silence sure make it seem like they admit it was not the right thing to do.

I'm not one for bashing people, but I do not like mistreatment of others. I could of handled the first post better. But just like Earl in the 2004 Skins Game, some things are hard to forget, especially when they are not asking for forgiveness.

Also about the match that you saw with Corey and Mika, Corey said that Mika stepped on his foot twice and Corey was only sitting in his chair. Corey said Mika gave him a look as if he was doing it on purpose. There was just no room for Corey to move to becasue he was told to sit in his chair when the other player was shooting. He said in order to get out of the way they needed to move the whole chair and table.

Well OK. I'm really glad to hear it! So from this point on, I will give him the benefit of the doubt, because you guys obviously know him. I did mention that the volunteer thing is very commendable.

There are usually two sides to every story and you only heard one side before making a judgement on Cory. I am very good friends with Dee Adkins, Cory and Dee live together and there is a lot of history between those players not just the one side you have heard.

Corey now lives in Kent, OH by himself.

It's Friday night and I'm sitting on the internet debating Star Wars terminology. I think a drink would be nice.

Now see, that is what I wanted to hear. THANKS! I knew there was more to that. I should have just asked about that straight up in the beginning. We live we learn.

So what was the dael with Ralf? Why did he call him an A******?

LOL, I might end up being a fan of his big time before this is all over with. LMAO

One drink and I'm unable to operate my mobile (also known as my Drunk Dialing Device) in a responsible manner.

Corey and Ralf were playing in the U.S. open and Ralf was taking a bunch of practice strokes on a ball and on his last stroke it looked like his cue ball moved so Corey jumped up and said foul as Ralf shot the ball and hooked himself. They rewound the tape and saw that it wasn't a foul. Because of that Ralf thought that Corey was trying to shark him on purpose and that just wasn't the case. Corey has appologized since then.

I don't know who you are, but next time you see Corey, tell him you earned him one more fan! Thanks, I feel better knowing this stuff. TV will rot your brain. LOL

Yeah! Happy New Year to both of you!

"For all aquaintence..." OK, I give up...I am a bit tone deaf.

Thanks again.

I have met Corey twice. He is a nice guy to talk to. He is a huge competitor and loves to win. Hope to see Corey and Aaron at the Turning Stone in Feb.

Al-fahl Amir,

Is he as excited about the IPT as most of us are? I am actually looking forward to the DVD sets.

It sounded to me like you were bashing someone, and Cory is young enough to be my grandson so hero is even close. I just thought you were giving an opinion without knowing the other side of the story. Cory should have moved his foot without having to be told, that goes without saying. I thought what Ralph said on television was uncalled for as well, if he has a problem with Cory that was not the time or the place for it.
