I have one of those cases and its the triple nuts, Everyone who sees it forgets what ever cue they are holding, the pictures of it are worthless(no offence but the camera just cant capture the beaituy of it), it looks like it covered in black diamonds, it is with out a doubt the best looking case I hace ever seen period, they arnt many around and I dont even know what it is worth, I keep my B Szam in it and use it when I go out to local rooms, I dont travel with it. I hope there arnt alot of them made, cutting that skin is brutal its calicum not leather and its impossible to match the seams, when its empty a 1X2 it feels like a Fellini with a light cue in it, thats how heavy the skin on it is. Its a exo=skeleton type of material, that is the skeleton is the skin....almost. It will never wear out. And no mine will never be sold but rather used alot, especially when I can get out more often.

The number on that case, if you could buy one, would be $1200 to $1800.

WOW Tommy.....did I need that information 2 weeks ago or what???????????

LOL Si, I just know Engles made maybe 2 or 3. One was sold for $1600 in Houston and another for $1200 here in Jackson to a collector who put an Ivory handled McDaniel in it and put them away.

The Engles examples would be worth more, as the Thoroughbred is a cue case combo. Either way, as Fatboy said and I am sure you can attest, those cases are hands down the most beautiful 1x2 ever made. I have a line on the case that had the McDaniel inside, and soon it will be on the market.

I think the combination of a Diamond studded cue and a shimmering black Diamond like case is the nutz!
