It will change your game, no question about it.

I use the Z-2 but I am looking into trying out the 314-2. My game has definately improved, that is for sure.

Haha, I am in the EXACT same boat BVal. I really enjoy my Z-2 but I think a 314-2 is a better fit for me right now. (Especially with league starting up again in September!)

I think I'm going to be moving to the Z2 shortly. I have had a lot of success w/the original Z, but now that I'm trying to get to a new level I'm going to give it a go. It would help if I can sell off my 2 Z's and my 314.

The question is which cue are they using?

I'll bet a lot of these are players who either just use the shafts, or just use the BK2 Break cue.

Larry Nevel for example is sponsored by Tiger, and plays with Tiger cues, and thier shafts. However he also has a sponsorship from Predator to break with the BK2. Last time I knew anyways...

Don't get me wrong though, they are great cues! I personaly play with one and am in love with it!

from what i've heard, the 314/314-2 is better than the z/z2. what do you think the next step up is, either predator or not? i can't wait to start apa next year when i begin grad school (hopefully in valpo - nw indiana here i come!)...

true it would be worth to find out the difference between playing and breaking cue use..... but I dont think it makes a difference what cue the shaft goes on....you dont play pool with the inlays...

My first 314 should be shipped out to me early next week.. so I finally get to see what all the fuss is about !! BTW, thanks Double Dave....and since you are sending it to me form Holland.. be sure to use some of the local "herbal" packaging material :D

I am from a small town called East Grand Forks, actually not far from Brainerd. I was born here and I've lived here all my life. It's always fun to run into a fellow Minnesotan out here in the real world.

Well, I threw in a Joint Protector, will that do?:p

Danny Hewitt doesn't play with a predator cue. I see him once or twice a week and he plays with a Schon butt and shaft.

Neither does Saez. I see him about the same and he hits with a Gilbert player and j/b. I'll take a second look, but I'm pretty damn sure the shaft isn't a predator.
