Well I am trading or selling my Panasonic DVX100B Mini DV Prosumer camera. This camera is really nice and I would like to keep it but could use cash more but will accept a good cue trade. I got it from a friend recently and have not used it much. It films in 24p mode which is very nice as you can see in the clips I provided and give it that film like feel that everyone looks for in video. It also has built in XLR mic ports for using high quality mics. Tons of settings to use to adjust how you want your picture to look like.
The only thing wrong with the camera is the manual focus ring is jammed, not sure what is up with it as I am not familiar with this camera nor problems like this. The auto focus works great on it and if your using it stationary you can auto focus on what you like then switch to manual.
I have not used it for capture as my computer does not recognize this camera, not sure why that is. It is best to use a low end mini dv camera if your going to transfer to computer or a capture card is recommended if your going to use this camera to transfer footage. I personally use a mini dv camera I bought for $100 off of CL to use when I transfer the tape to my computer so I do not wear the heads out.
It comes with a heavy duty dual handle tripod with quick release plate. 1 battery and charger. Soft carrying cases for both camera and tripod. It is a nice little package that you could live stream with or use for weddings, birthdays or whatever else you like including pool matches or practice. Many people in various industries doing documentaries and the stuff I mentioned in the sentence before use this camera because of the quality and durability of it.
I am looking for either $1200 cash for the package or a trade for a cue in the price range of $1500-$2000, this package with the tripod would be around $3000 if new. Please PM me your offers. Thanks.
