Poolrooms would do themselves a favor if they promoted 3 ball, partner money ball, and ring games. Once you get it started you will have a few tables going all day and night with players getting in and out of the 3 games. If there aren't enough to play, jump in yourself until another player wants in. If one of the games is going to end because of a player is leaving and no one else is around to fill the spot jump in yourself until someone wants in. That's how to keep the games going. I had a money ball going 12 hours a day in a 9 table room and that table paid for all the overhead. Johnnyt

One of the best games ever invented was Pea Pool. Up to 8 players can play.
You're never eliminated, even if your own ball is gone. You can make money
just by pocketing another players ball. You get paid pocketing any money ball.

These games went on for hours. If someone dropped out there was another
waiting to jump in. All the old time rooms played this game. The game was
outlawed in certain states years ago because of gambling. Not outlawed now.

If poolrooms would bring Pea Pool back I think they could attract many more
customers. We would play this game almost every day. The more the players
the less it cost for table time. A win/win situation. Some gambling is just fun.

Yes, that is another game we use to play a lot in poolrooms, and it is a good money maker for the room. Johnnyt
