Purchased Aramith Tournament Set - chips?

I've used the Aramith premiums for the last year on my home table, and they play and clean great. Saw the Aramith tournaments for sale online so I purchased those 3 months ago on cyber Monday. The 8-ball chipped in the first week, paid the $40 to replace it, now 4 other balls have chips in them. Did I get a bad set, or is this a known issue? (I believe I purchased from mancave warehouse? Deleted the email. they were sealed in original box)

Contact them directly NOW. No one on here can solve your problem. I mean that in a positive way, GO to the source. Its 'possible' they are fakes. I does happen. NO way these balls should do this.

My guess would be that you are playing on a table(s) with a nail head(s) that have popped out in at least one pocket(s).

There is metal sticking up in your pockets somewhere. That’s the only way phenolic balls will chip while on the table. Go through your table very carefully to find the metal.

If you launch them on the floor/wall, they can get scuffed depending on what they land on.

I use Aramith Tournaments on my 3 Diamond Bar Boxes. I replace them every 2 years, but I've never ever had a single mark in any of them ever. This is with constant league play and drunk idiots every weekend. Brian.

As others have stated, either fake balls, or you have pocket liners that are held in by nails/tacks and one (or more) of them have loosened to the point where the head is coming in contact with the balls. What kind of table do you have? Pics of the table and the affected balls would be helpful.

Will check pockets and send pictures when I get home, thank you.
