Hey Bro,

didn't get much done on the CNC, after you left, and I really want to thank you for your help. I delivered the 11, cues and cue cabinet to my man in Fl., on Sat. He really liked all of them. I, delivered 10 more cues to Hollywood billiards. Trip was gooood.

Christina [my grandaughter] came to help me drive. She slept most of the way. I drove. We had a great dinner friday night with Danny DiLiberto, and Ron Lawrance of cue/silk, and Hank from the "67 wine and sprits" shop in Fort Lauderdale.. Bought more of that wine.ummm-gooood....

Checks on the way. Just add the other 35 to the pot if you want.

I live about 15 minutes south of the "Moonshine Capital of the World". Where the streams flow shine in all the backyards. HAHA! Can I take your order Purdman? LOL!

I know you've heard of Franklin County, Virginia, "Moonshine Capital of the World". I lived in the basment once a long time ago of a guy out in the sticks who had a creek a short ways behind his house. In his heyday, he used to make it and sell it out of an old school bus painted silver, which incidentally is where he ran a card game for for probably over 2/3 of his life, rest his soul. I am a teatotaller personally and would never touch the stuff, but if you can't find it around here, you can't find it anywhere.

Hey Don, thanks again for keeping this dream alive.

I haven’t been posting or following this for a few days due to family stuff and craputer problems but things are back to normal now.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but what your Alamo picture doesn’t say is what you did before the picture was taken. Please esplain. Do they detain all DC pool players in general? Did you swipe their hats? Or, did you write ‘Purdyman was here’ on the wall with blue cue chalk? Whatever the case, I could be wrong, but it looks as though you lost a bet to Blud.

It’s unfortunate that a cue maker would have enough spare time to stay ‘in stroke’ to be able to beat you, he must need some more work to do. :D

Hope you had a good trip.

Rick
P.S. you better use some sunscreen on them legs.

Hey, easy, easy, now. Thems are my legs. One of a king, custom built by one of the top leg makers in the country. Bleanord Ludworth! I swear, "I Didn't Do Nothing". That's my story and I am sticking to it. Welcome back Hustlefinger.

Don,

I've been really busy, plus my computer took a dump on me and I had to do a little upgrading. As you mentioned earlier, I agree that this is a step in the right direction for pool's image, plus it gives us something to keep our interest piqued. I may make it down to the Open for a couple of days, not real sure right now though, I'm going to Ireland early in October, love to get down there though, miss the shine!

Later,
Jim
