Putnam cue orrrrr????

Anyone have any opinions on Shawn Putnam cues? Preferably not just "shoots lights out" or "hits like a ton".... But real opinion and useful info? I'm thinking about having him make one for me? If not him, then who? I'm looking to have one made to MY specs, not buy a pre-made one. I like a stiff/firm feel. Big pin.

He is releasing a special line of cues soon that reflects his love of Cyclop balls.

why ? one of the best hitting cue out there at this moment .

Not only his LD shafts are laminated but also his butts are 6-pie laminated and cored , this gives it a very firm hit with all the feedback you can dream of .
The're a lot of people out there that bought one because of my recommandations and all of them couldn't thank me enough .

You told us what you don't want, why don't you tell us what you really want instead so we don't have to guess...

I have never heard anyone complain about one of MR Putnam's .

Shawn makes a wonderful cue I have 3 of them....his cues hit great and his workmanship is as good as it gets...One of my cues is the 4th down from top...

I heard that he learned to build cues from Josey, so that ought to give you some confident in his work...

2 or 3 years ago when johnny archer's game was not so good, Putnam built a cue for him and his game got a whole lot better. johnny told me it was because of the cue when I asked him about his game's improvement. that is the only help I can offer to you.
