Putting together some t-shirt designs and looking for a little advice

I'm putting together a few t-shirt designs and this is an area that I'm not too familiar with.

Any suggestions on where to go for high quality printing?

Is there a place where they'll print small quantities or one-offs? Drop shipping?

I've looked at spreadshirt and some of the other t-shirt selling sites but not sure if that is the best way to go. If so, which of these sites is better then others?

Also anyone with some +/-'s of selling t-shirts would be great.
