I'm selling this case for my friend SorminNorman who passed away yesterday. All the proceeds will go toward his final expenses and the welfare of his mother who has survived him.
This is an old Kelly Case in real python skin. The latch is polished and works flawlessly. The interior is black felt with no chalk residue or apparent wear. There is no label like Centennial of Fellini.
The lid fits tight and the tube still appears polished. The case has seen very little use by my assessment. Dick Abbott might know for sure, but if memory serves me correctly, Norm bought this case from Billiard Cue .com for $800.
The scales are showing their age and while they are still very secure, many have lifted on their edges. This is a true old collectable in great shape. There is some wear on the case bottom that I tried to capture in a photograph.
The case is for sale only because its owner can no longer appreciate it and final expenses are needed. Buy with confidence and enjoy a fellow player's cherished collectable as you help his family in the process.
