I noticed that there were different styles of the Q-claw, which made me think there could be more than one manufacturer.

One sure way to find out is to purchase one and then read the accompanying material that comes with it. The name of the producing manufacturer, if you will, may be in small print on the accompanying literature and/or the product itself!

The manufacturer of the original Q-Claw is Beads and Billiards/Billiards 911. If you're looking for wholesale pricing or any manufacturing information, you should give them a call. Jessie is usually at the major shows as well (BCAPL, APA, BCA Expo) so you can always talk to her there.

I need to get a dual cue holder. Is this Q-Claw a good choice? I am just waiting for some drunk to kick mine and mangle it...

That's right the same people that do the original pocket chalkers.
The rubber molded one that sits on the table.
There was also a screw clamp type for 3 cues that was called I think "The Claw"
Made by someone in Cal I think.

I have a dual Q-Claw. It is compact (important for putting into your case pocket), it does the job (doesn't fall off or anything), and is safe for your cues. I like it better than other cue holders I had previously. It comes in black or blue.

Too heavy for me but they work great. I have another kind that is semi clear plastic formed into some sort of Deadhead Skull or something-It works on the tackiness of the plastic bottom as opposed to weight. If conditions are "just right" it works fine. Otherwise a little shaky but no harm to my inexpensive cues so far.

My guess is that the cue claw is manufactured overseas and we will not find out where the manufacturer is located very easily. Perhaps Kathy Lee Gifford knows!!!
