Heya guys,

I'm going to be near Q-master's Billiards for the next couple days, and thought I'd see if anybody was in the Newport News/Hampton/Norfolk/VA Beach area that was interested in knocking 'em around a bit??

I'm going to be working some funky (and long) hours, but will likely be able to break away for some table time on Monday afternoon or Tuesdsay night.

If anybody's inclined to meet up, drop me a PM. No action here, though....just a chance to meet up with a fellow AZB guy, tell some stories, and shoot some pool.

All skill levels welcome....but the worse you are, the better I'll seem!! ;) :)

A local business will host a benefit for the family of Virginia Beach police officer Randy Vaiden on Saturday, April 19.

Vaiden was killed in a traffic crash in October 2007.

The benefit will take place at Q-Master Billiards from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 5612 Princess Anne Road, and will include a pool tournament, a professional pool demonstration, raffles and food.

Money raised will go to the Randy Vaiden Memorial Fund to benefit the officer's family, including his wife and two sons.

BTW, I love, love, love those T-shirts from Q-Master Billiards. So colorful and cool! I think I have one in every color! :p

I'll talk to the wife about tomorrow evening. I just had a 10 hour session yesterday though... and she hates dealing with the dogs when I'm gone, but I'll tell her it's a chance to meet someone from the boards :p
