did you understand why albin lost that game after he kicked in the six ball successfully?
he was down approx 4-2 at the time
He got nuts and conceded that rack. All this because he did not call the shot (at least according to the ref).

Could he see the 8 after? Can't tell from the angle. If he had a shot on the 8, and the ref said he didn't call it, then it would be rack over anyway, as Stepanov is never missing those. If the 10 obscures the 8, I'd agree it was silly to concede the rack.
(You can't hear Albin say anything from the vid, but you'd have to assume he did given the fact this is literally his job... wonder what he has to say about it... he's been quite entertainingly outspoken of late)

I think call shot works, but some logic could be applied in such situations as this. Like what else was he going to do? I would expect him to call no pocket if he laid a safe. It's just a simple application of common sense on the referees part.
a common sense that every decent player in the world applies when there is no ref. ludicrous decision by the ref. it's call shot when not obvious. this was obvious. safety wasn't possible, another pocket wasn't possible
filler and raga out, albin and wojciech through. filler played quite poorly and missed at least two 10-balls
Nothing more fun than clawing your way back into a set, then losing to a lucky 10 on the break

afaik 10b on break re-spots in any 10b game. not sure about DCC but i've only seen it go a few times in my life on the break. pretty rare. 10b last is pretty dull to watch, and play.Nothing more fun than clawing your way back into a set, then losing to a lucky 10 on the break
good point, but you know what I mean, guess i shouldn't used the break in my example lol
just need a big Josh blow-up doll. that way you can inflate/deflate as needed.
