I saw on the website that a charge lasts 2 hrs. and recharging takes about an hour. My question is can it operate while charging? IOW, if you hook it up to one of those portable power devices can it go for more than the 2 hours.

Also, is there any limit to the number of shots than are recorded in one session? Is the device accurate enough to register virtually every hit and not register spurious hits? One of the possible uses I may have is having it count my shots so I will be able to compute and monitor my average (I play 3C, not pool).

I am also wondering if the physical size of the cue ball (big differences between billiard balls on one end and snooker balls on the other) requires any kind of calibration or adjustment? And if so, is that done through the software?

Thanks. This product's concept is very attractive to me.

QMD can be used while charging.

No limit to number of shots per session.

It's possible but rare for it to miss recording or to record a spurious shot.

Ball size doesn't matter.

OK, I ordered one. I'll post a review of sorts after I get it and try it.

For the record, I was torn between this and the OB one, but your's checked a lot more design boxes for me. The connectivity opens up a lot of information that a simple beeping cannot provide, while retaining the instant feedback aspect. I can't say which product is better, but if item quality is comparable between them your feature set is what sold me. The intro price also helped.

I'm thinking about recording a session on video while I use this so I can go back later and look at the data the device provides and then be able to look at the stroke that produced that data.

PS: thanks for not making fun of the charging question which I realize was silly - result of a senior moment brain fart.
