Quad Cities Pool

yes they do

Does Leisure Time have anything else besides 7 foot tables? Does Miller Time?

I have been to both, but it has been 15 - 20 years since I was there and all I remember are 7 foot tables.

not sure about leisure time i believe they have atleast one 9fter. Miller time has 15 barboxes total i believe and three 9ft tables and one snooker table. They have like 10 8 ft tables not sure on the exact number while your there try a pizza there pretty good

Sin City

I was out at MillerTime last weekend. Shot for about 2 hours...I was with a group of friends and we were playing on one of the 8 footers. There were two different gentleman playing on the 9 footers...Not sure if one of those was you mosconiac. Were you doing a 3 rail object ball drill?? If so I watched you shoot occassionally...When I wasn't giving good shape to my friend that doesn't play much pool, lol. (scotch doubles)

On a different subject. I am playing in the tourney out at Legends Bar and Grill in Clinton. I was under the impression that it was an 8-ball singles tourney. Haven't heard of anything relating to 3-man.

The tournament im speaking of is at the former lassiters now sin city. Its a three man tournament should be pretty big. The place has great food and by far the hottest bartenders around they also have good bands every weekend.

I didn't realize they were running tourney's out of there...Yea, I have been out there a few times. Thursday night $.25 drafts...hell yea. Lol I will agree about the hot bartenders...Nothing like down in the quad cities or Houston for that matter, but for Clinton, it's not too bad.

I used to play for Lassiter's...when it was Lassiter's. I don't think Van Kampen has anything on Dave Holmes' place (Legends)....where I now play out of.

MTB used to have a 3C table, but some asian guys offered them too much $$$ so they sold it. The guys refused to break down the table, they came in with a crew of a dozen and carried it out in one piece!!! I know you won't believe me, but it actually happened.

I seemed to be the only guy (other than the asians, of course) that put any time on it.

slide: say hi next time! I'd like to see your Justis.
Ok I'll tell you what. If ever there's a 3C table in the Quads I'll play you some pool unless it's 1 hole (even you'd be bored) if you play some No Hole.

Aaron: I'll be around all day Saturday...hopefully playing ring games. I need to get some table time in before the tourney next weekend.

If you make it, just look for a ring game and join in. If MTB is dead, you'll probably find something going on over at Leisure Time. The players flow back & forth between the two poolhalls.

That sounds like a plan, Mosconiac. I'll pm you with my ph# and stuff.

Thanks for all the helpful information, guys. I appreciate it.

Aaron

Listening to you talk about Terry and Little Joe takes me back. My name is Don Lundy from Montana and I drove truck through Davenport for 10 years. Stopped at Millers alot cause they let me park the truck in the lot. Got to be friends with Joe and Terry so I'm sure I must have played the rest of you guys? Anyone remember me? :o:)
