I might be late to the discussion about the U.S. Open listings for each event; in other words, it may have already been discussed previously on the forum.

That said, they do list all U.S. Open championship title-holders each year, offering these champion title-holders free entry. Maybe Barry included it for the women as well as the men. I'm not sure, but that could be one reason why Jean Balukas' name is on the list.

Again, if this has been discussed previously or if somebody has firsthand knowledge and wants to correct my post, I only offer this as a hypothesis. I did not speak with Barry Behrman.
 
I would be very surprised if she showed up to play. She has nothing to prove and has often said she has no desire to play again. She may be there but I doubt she would play.
