Jay, could you explain why the referee would not allow Kelly Fisher a re-rack when she requested it in the finals? The referee just said, "Same ... same." Kelly just accepted this answer and broke them anyway (with no balls made). I couldn't believe she was denied a re-rack, and would love to hear why this happened if you know.

Does anyone know if this was recorded? I have been trying to check insidepool.tv but it was down last night and I did not see any of the matches there earlier.

I believe Lee is hooked up with Dragon in some way, as she has done several events with them. Maybe she declined for some reason. I don't know if Monica is still playing enough, although she did pretty good in a China (I believe) tournament not too long ago. I like Jen's game, but wonder about her with 30 sec. shot clock. Johnnyt

Jeanette wasn't in the W10B tournament,either. I believe she had other obligations, although I think she would have been a great addition,as she's the most well known pool player in America, hands down.

Excellent event, but Team West could have been and should have been stronger.

WPBA Rank: Jeanette Lee (3), Monica Webb (4), Jennifer Barretta (8), Vivian Villareal (13)

Even if one looks at WPA Rank instead, Barretta is #31, the highest rank of any American.

Team West would have been stronger had Lee, Webb or Barretta been the representative from the USA. Vivian is a great player, but did not merit this selection.

Of course, for all I know, the others were offered that place on Team West first. I sure hope so.

Yes, very likely Jeanette and Jen A were preferred choices as they are also popular. But they likely declined because of family as this tourney will keep them away from home for at least 3 days

I am interested to know about the "push out" thing in match between GYK/ Amit and the Fishers. Apparently Fishers forgot to call "push out " in a game and GYK said it is foul. But referee just have warning.
