I found this cool looking palmer i wasn't sure if it has an interesting story behind it. The cue's foil says lads and lassies and it's a palmer im just not sure what exactly it's worth i can't identify the model either. I always keep my eyes open on deals for cues maybe you guys could help me get a better idea of what it's worth and if i should jump at the deal set forth. The guy listed it for $350. It looks like one shaft is original and one's not. The reason i think its a gem because i know certain pro players have catch phrases like in this instance "Lads and Lassies" could have been some famous irish pool player or something. The pictures are attached.

Yeah i have but they kind of look similar i'm no genius identifying a cue plus i think its custom because of the message in the foil therefore i mean that site has good stuff if the cue is generic and exactly what it looks like. This one in my opinion can't be distinguished that easily? I mean i assume it'd be from the second or third catalog just not exactly sure.
It's a 2nd catalog Model "E" from early 1970's. The shaft tenons were done this way until the 3rd catalog cues.
I can't tell from the photos but it's supposed to be a Titlist forearm. Just looking at this cue I would say it is a Titlist but using some unusual woods and the veneer colors are not showing in the photo. $350 is a no brainer - if you don't want it, let me have it! I have one Titlist with similar prong wood - best looking one I won.
The name is probably the name of a pool room or bar. A lot of time room owners had their room name put on the label and then they sold them to customer.

"Lads and Lassies" could be the name of a pool room. The cue may have belonged to the owner.
It also could have been a gift from someone's grandkids.
If you pay $350, you could probably get half your money back through the case.
