Question about accounts

I have a cue for sale in the for sale section and I received a pm the person said he is interested in the cue and that he was using his friends account with his permission. We pm each other a few times trying to make a deal and I started to get the feeling that there was something familiar about the business manor of this person. I had dealings with someone else on the forum a while back, a lot of similarities. Like a cue deal template timing and all. I don't know for sure, but I believe this is the person I was dealing with this time too but not using the same name or account. I thanked him for his interest and sorry we could not do business and he wished me good luck. My question is why would he not just get his own account?

Thanks

Mark,

It sometimes takes weeks to get a new account activated or falls through the cracks and doesn't happen. I can see somebody needing to communicate in a hurry using a borrowed account with permission. Of course banned members and folks with rep's as bad traders might do the same.

Most deals I am completely comfortable with. When I'm not comfortable I walk away. No doubt miss some deals with fine people but I'm sure that I have avoided headaches too. Every deal I have been uncomfortable with and went ahead with anyway has been a mess in one way or another. Without knocking the other party, you are right to walk away when you are uneasy about a deal, any deal.
