Greetings,

Are any of you forum members regular players at this establishment?

I will be visiting VT for the next 3 days, and I'm wondering if B&B keeps their house cues in good condition, or must I bring my own stick with me?

Thanks.

I would suggest bringing your own cue if possible. There typical bar sticks and get alot of play. They also play apa league nights sunday thru thursday so it could be pretty busy. Nice tables and decent food and lots of eye candy on most nights.

I believe it was said here before that the best tables in the area are in the va tech game room.

Csykes- tell 'um.

Thanks for that. I kinda figured it was only for students, but not so?

Also, regarding APA Sun-Thur... that's too bad, Wed+Thur will be my only nights to play.

Thanks.

Diamond tables, good beer(they brew their own) and darn good food, the house cues are okay, better than most establishments, but bring your own if you enjoy playing with it more than a house cue. Bull and Bones is a great place to play and hang out...I love it. You won't be disappointed.

Ah, awesome. When will you be here? PM me.

I'd be happy to come out and show you around town or something. Bull and Bones is an absolute awesome place to go into, as it's by far the classiest bar/restaurant in the Blacksburg area -- (6) Diamond bar tables, and (1) Diamond Pro-Am, along with great food, in-house brew, and super nice people. You would be fine playing with a house cue there, as the owners/managers are all basically pool players and take care of the equipment.

There's a pool hall on campus (BreakZONE), too, that has 16 Gold Crown IV's, 1 Diamond Pro-Am, and a new 12x6 snooker table.

Just arrived at Courtyard, Marriott. Missed my connecting flight in Charlotte, and got in after midnight. So, one of my two nights to play is already shot.

I have a full schedule at VT tomorrow, so I won't make it out to play until, at earliest, 6:00... I'll probably try and have my dinner over there. I'll be the old guy in shorts and a white South Dakota School of Mines shirt.

Thanks, so much.
