question about cue points

If you take a full splice cue where the points are off say 3/4 inch from each other, will that make the cue feel different on the hit just by turning the cue where you are hitting with a different point up?
I hope you understand what I am asking because I am sure I did not explain it the best way.

No, but if you face the 2 long points toward the sky and hold the cue lightly between 2 fingers, you can find underground rivers very accurately.:thumbup:
