The diamonds are one piece slate. It seems to me that you could achieve a very level slate just using the four feet. The diamonds however have leveling screws around the entire slate. Could someone with knowledge please explain how these operate and the correct process for using them to level a Diamond? Thank you in advance.

Pretty slick design, really. You tighten the levelling nuts to raise the lows to bring them up to level. Simple as that. (Somewhat)
