This cue is from the Meucci Originals Starter Collection. It was one of two models called the HI-Run series. Built in the early 80's. The cue sold for around 275.00 I think. not really sure about the price. Hope this helps.

Even though some of these cues were labled "MEUCCI ORIGINALS", they were not the 1st Meucci cues made. They were called MEUCCI ORIGINALS, because Bob Meucci had sold his Meucci name to another cue company & he started making his cues under this name. They were made from 1974-1999. To my knowledge they are not collectable & worth about 1/2 of their new price, IF they are in good condition...JER

can anyone tell me whatever they know about this here cue? Is it stained bird's eye maple? What is the joint and butt material? On the butt end, right next to the wrap, is a space, sorta like there used to be a ring in it or something, the picture doesn't show it very well. Is that possible? It definitely looks like something used to be there. Anyway, thanks for the help.
