Question about posting pictures.

HI Everybody;

This is a dumb question but how does everybody get these nice, high-resolution pictures posted? When I try to attach pictures from my computer with a posting it says that the files are too large and are limited to 500 (kb?). What do I need to do?

get an account at photobucket.they are free.it is pretty easy from there.

They also have a limit, but it's 1Mb files. Anyway, it's not advisable to have huge pix as they load pretty slow. I will usually use 800x600 or 640x480. Depends on the forum I'm in.

Thanks for the replies, I finally figured out how to resize my pictures and I made a post with attachments....whoopee!

You can also Crop your pix to just show the cue with less background. If using Windows, MS Office has Picture Manager to do this.
