Are his older cues better than the ones he is putting out now? I am thinking about buying an older cue of his. Has no flaws, except for a few dings not visible unless held to a light, both shafts are perfectly straight....looks like a good buy, what do you think?

No Brainer- snap it up.

If someone offers you a Shelby Cobra, snap it up too, BTW!

And enjoy!

Not sure if they are any better, but the older the cue the more it could be worth down the road.

Without seeing the cue it's hard to say buy it or not........but my first thought is like piga.......snap it up, if ya can get it for a decent price. I have always been a fan of Scruggs.....great cues!

Tim Scruggs Cue

PTM, Tim has always made a jam up cue and still does. I know him and can honestly tell ya that he never made any junk.

His old cues are great. I kid you not when I say that his new cues have reached a level of technical perfection not seen by any other maker. I have one made last year. Although it's not fancy, it is the cleanest work I have ever seen.

I had a plain BE maple Scruggs with a reddish stain. It was 59" and hit like a dream. Made the mistake of selling it when I got my SW, because using it as a break cue wouldn't do it justice...lol! I know they guy I sold it to still has it, and doesn't play pool anymore. Unfortunatly he wouldn't part with that cue for 3 times what he bought it for. If I had a dime for every cue I wish I still had I would have a few rolls of dimes!
