I never did got tired of the titlist veneer colors haha, but i came across a Ralph Greenleaf sometime back and decided to convert it to a hoppe due to the nice color veneers scheme. Havent manage to find too much data on this Greenleaf model, only a brief mention in the billiards encyclopedia, and Deno's Site.
Anyway it would be ready anytime this month methinks, with 2 other titlist conversions (walnut and mahogany titlists).
U are rite Chris the original hoppes are pretty unplayble due to the fat butt... those days the players had finger grips for that exquisite touch in the game or cushion billiards and balkline.. and hence the handle didnt bother them... i had frens with huge hands and thought that the fat handle wont bother them..dead wrong again kekek
