Question concerning Bender Cues...

I was recently looking at picking up a Bender custom. However, I've never owned or known anyone that has had one. I was just wondering how they hit. Maybe even by comparison to another maker.

I'm generally into soft hitting cues, but was looking to get something a bit firmer this time around. I generally stay away from stiff hitting cues.

I was wondering if anyone out there would be kind enough to give me some feedback concerning Mike's cues. His rep is great and that usually comes in correlation to great hitting cues.

I just didn't want to pull the trigger and have to flip the cue in a few weeks if I didn't like it. Thanks in advance to anyone that responds.

Great Cue!

If you can get one you cant go wrong, you can always sale a Bender for what you paid for it.

The hit, if you like SouthWest Cues, then you'll like Bender
 
Bender makes a very fine cue . To bad he uses a thread that hard to get anything to fit , like custom shafts and J/ps . Jim

Mike Bender is a GREAT machinist of cues. Far as how his cues hit, I think he offers a few choices in tapers.
 
Bender cues generally hit stiffer than say a Meucci. Cal Mike Bender and talk to him about the hit of his cues. He may be able to provide exactly what you are looking for.

I like a stiff hitting cue over a highly flexible shaft.
