Question for people who use a hard tip

I use a milk dud which is pretty hard. How often do you use a tip pick?

I don't use a tip pick.

How often ? Just look at the tip, if it looks like it's glazed and not holding chalk, just scuff it.

For the hardest tips... Break tips.
I use a tip pick. Works great on my hammerhead.

I play with Triangle tips and I basically never scuff....
That was the biggest difference to me from going from any other tip.
Mostly Kamui though, they need constant maintenance.
The other big difference is that Triangle gives a feel to the hit that other tips just can't match.
