I saw recently a comment from a room owner on this forum who said 97% of pool players are no good. I remember a comment from another room owner a while back that everybody who had ever been in his room had stolen from him. I've been in the guy's room and I enjoyed it there, and I bought soda and food from the vending machines and paid my table time, never stole a thing. I know another guy who has owned several rooms who said the only professional pool player in the world who is a decent person is Efren Reyes.
These comments surprised me. I'm not aware that other business owners have such a low opinion of their customers. Are we really all a bunch of bums or is it that long time pool room owners are just tired of the business they are in?
