Question for Scruggs experts

I recently had the opportunity to trade an old joss west 4 point 4 veneer players cue I have for basically the same setup in a Tim Scruggs cue. Here's my question I haven't seen or held the Scruggs. The owner is a straight up guy. I like and use a thick handled cue( Andy Gilbert Szamboti style). The jw is noticeably thinner in the handle. Sorry I don't have calipers or a Mac. Since most cue makers use universal dimensions for all their cues I was wondering how the handle thickness of the Scruggs would compare. Say for example in comparison to a production cue like the Schon I presently own. Would it be thicker, thinner? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thicker as a rule
schon is one of the smaller

but tim made custom cues,so who is to say this is not
a custom order

tim scruggs made a great cue so be happy
you did the right thing

I had a Scruggs four point/four veneer and the handle was on the thinner side compared to older cues such as the old D series McDermotts. I also have an early 80's Schon. Both handles were on the thinner side and very close to identical. However, as Dean said above, Tim was a custom maker so handles on some of his cues could vary significantly.
