question on finish

I had my sanding size mandrels made at .845" and my finish size made at .850" giving finish that is .0025" thick. I would say that is about average. I have seen many UV finished cues with only about .001" of finish which only adds .002" diameter to the cue.

I have sanding mandrels in three sizes. The first is for the first sanding before the sealer goes on. The second is for sanding after sealing and the third is for sanding after finishing. Each set is .005 larger than the other.

Can anyone tell me where they are getting the sanding mandrels??

Mine came from Tom Migliori (TNS Cues). I think Blud makes them also.
