I have a question to ask everyone who loves to watch pool matches on film.
Would you purchase matches from a Big Amateur event?For example,The Windy City Open.Some of the matches that occured there were great:

Shane Van Boeing vs. Jesse Bowman(9-ball ProAm final)
Tommy Hernandez vs. Duncan Kaufman(Open 9-ball final)
Danny Harriman vs. Chris Gentile(Bank Pool match)

These are just some of the possibilities.If you answered honestly,would you purchase matches from events like this or similar?How much would you be willing to pay if yes?Feedback would be appreciated:)

I would purchase all three. It depends on the quality of the tape for the price. Maybe $40 for all three.
 
I'd like something more like propoolvideo.com or a subscriptions/watch on demand site. If I bought them in dvd, probably $25 for all three.

Depends on what you mean by amateur. You mentioned some players that play at a pro level, so yeah I would enjoy that. But if you mean buying tapes of players at an A level and lower, no I would not. I see that every time I play.
 
I would definitely buy anything with Shane or Jesse in it. Any top amatuer barbox would be good too. You should make this a poll.

How do I make it into a poll?Do you mean putting the word "poll" in the title of the thread?
 
i personaly prefer big names like roddney morris, of efren reyes
but if they are good matches i guess $20 for all three

I for one would purchase these tapes. Excellent bar table talent. Plus there is not a lot of tapes of bar table 8 ball(which I happen to prefer). As far as price, somwhere in the $12-15 per range. PS: Lose the beard!

Yes!
I have some that I've purchased from a guys in IL & ID and pay $4-8 (each) depending on the players, event and date of the match.
