question

No idea if it's real. It isn't a sneakie by normal terms...it is similar to another website's image. Maybe a different year?

If it is a retailer using eBay to dump old stock, you're good. It seems like that.

The purple hue is the Purpleheart handle. That is why I say not a sneaky Pete. In definition, a sneaky is a full splice cue of high quality low value woods. I.e the wood is good, but not figured enough, off color, etc to be put in a full custom cue.

Check the guys feed back and go. He is probably trying to get $175 because he has $140 and a year of storage into it.

Its not a full splice cue, so not a sneaky in the true sense. Maple forearm, PH handle and another type of wood for a sleeve. Floating points.

The seller is being sneaky by telling you that it is sneaky but thats about as sneaky as it gets.

I learned to play with a Joss sneaky pete 12+ years ago.
I've been through a good bit of sticks and I have always wished that I still had that stick. But I sold it. Well I found one just like it on ebay, but it has a purple tint too it for $150 shipped new. Is this legit? or a fake or..
just seems cheap since they are $220 everywhere else.

The cue is not listed as a buy it now at that price. There is still more than 4 days of bidding to go yet. The high bid may be what it is now or it may go to 10,000.00. Who knows.
