Questions about my table

I have an older Brunswick in my basement I've been wondering about. The only markings it has other that the brunswick plate is a "VIP" on the trim. Can any one point me to some info about this table. Haven't been able to find too much about it.

When I got it, a guy at the local shop said it was a home table they made in the late sixties and seventies. I've heard other people say they play similarly to a GC.

Does any one know these tables? Any more info you could point me too?

I would also like to know what kind of rails I should be looking at for this? And (I'm sure this is a stretch) can the springs for the straight pool counters be found, or should I make a new one, MacGyver style?

I am happy with how it plays but also don't want to put too much energy into it. I'm sure I'll end up with an old GC sooner than later.

I'll give it a try. Best I can do until the day time.

Those are most likely going to take a K55 profile cushion. I can repair your counter springs. Where are you located?

Thanks. I'm in Denver. I only need one spring for one of the dials. Do you have one spring or do you need to see one of the old ones?

I suppose I can give away this secret. Aluminum gutters are a slightly heavier material than the counter springs but still plenty pliable. I had a section blow down a couple years ago in a wind storm. I cleaned it up and got out the sheet metal sheers and I'm pretty sure I have a life time supply of counter spring material. :)

For the record, the actually real deal two sided springs can be ordered too. :)

Thanks for the trick CB. I think I even have some extra gutter in my shop. I'll definitely give it a try before I break down and order one.
