Questions about the designs of Cuetec Cynergy Nineball Series

I just saw the new Cuetec "Nineball" series in collaboration with Matchroom WNT on Matchroom’s Facebook page and in videos from the Hanoi Open and the Philippines Open, and it looks amazing, at least to me. Plus, the whole cue (with a Cuetec carbon shaft) is under $1,000, so I’d definitely get one LOL. Yes, I know I should only spend $50 on a cue but heck LOL.

I’ve been playing with a 13mm wood shaft, then switched to Predator (Vantage and 12.9 Revo) for years, and I still can’t run out a single rack of 9-ball on a 4.75mm pocket table yet, definitely because of the cue, so I’m switching. WATCH!

My question is: the Cuetec Cynergy Nineball Series looks incredibly good, at least in pictures and YouTube videos, but is the design on the butt just decals/stickers, or are they actually pieces of inlaid wood and other materials? Sorry, I don’t know the proper cue-building terms. I'm gonna get 1 no matter what, just wondering...

I’m going to assume thats a joke lol
What joke? Being stuck with Predator for all these years and no break and run yet, time to switch

Yea are 100% just stickers under a clear coat . You’re not going to play better 9 ball with it.. If you can’t play before you bought it you won’t play any better after
It does look good, if it makes me feel good and better, I'll probably shoot better at 9 ball. :sneaky:

I have both the CueTec Cynergy 12.5 mm shaft and the Predator Revo 12.9mm shaft and to be honest, I like the Revo better and I play better with it. I think that it's just the thickness of the shaft feels more natural to me.

Switching cues will make you play better for one or two sessions as you focus more on the new cue performance and feel that you actually focus on playing better... it passes very fast as you fall back to old habits.

Now it could actually feel better for you in terms of weight, balance, taper and thickness and it might actually make you play better and will fit your game better. But really, pool is a memory game and your body can adjust and get used to any cue and if you don't play well with the Revo after a period of a couple of months then maybe spend the money on a good instructor.

Decals
I don’t think that CueTec have any cue with real inlays.
A cue like this with real inlays these days would have cost well over $3000
Some of their cues have/had some actual inlaid ringwork but as far as points and other inlays its all decals. Its amazing to me how some of these decal cues look so close to the real deal. The price is always the giveaway.

If you have a cue that you really like, it will inspire you to play more, which in turn will improve your game. Good luck on achieving your first break and run!
