questions on a schon...

> There was a player from Atlanta named Robbie Hudson that had one just like this,or that one WAS his. The next to the last time I saw him was the IBC tournament at JOB's in Nashville, and he was trying to sell it. I've also seen 2 of the same cue with different woods in Memphis. It was probably a LTD or Unique class, but probably real limited. Nice cue,Tommy D.

Did you actually ask him any questions? When I talked to him about my Schon, it was up to me to ask the questions, since he wasn't answering anything without them. That's the way he is.

I know Evan is a tough nut to crack, but he answered every question I had. I would've expected it to be the same with everybody.

Price

I used to own one of those cues. I was told that the retail on it was in the 2500 range. This is only the third one i have ever seen though. Some one had one at the wind city open a few years back for $2000, but i don't know if it sold.

Just think about how many times he's asked about cues and cue models. I'm sure it drives him nuts. Fred is right, you need to ask specific questions.

yeah.. i am awaiting the new reply to my new series of specific questions..
but the price i have in mind is deffinatly alot lower then 2500, its lower then 2000 for that matter.. thanx for all the ppl who replied here.. it really gives me an idea.. and i always love to find the history out on stuff like that.. keep the posts comming.. lol..

Chris, if I'm not mistaken, the Billiard Pro Shop in Memphis use to carry this C-line back in the mid-late 90s. www.billiardpro.com They advertised in the Billiards Digest. Don't think this is a one of a kind model cue. I remember Robbie Hudson's cue and I'm pretty sure this was indeed the same model.

well.. after numerous emails.. Evan Cark yet replied to me again..
here is a copy of the email he sent..

Hi,

Our cues don’t go through an introduction 8^)). I made this cue for Cuestix International for about 3 years but only made maybe 8 or 9 of them. There will be no literature online about it. I actually only build 20-25 cues a week and not every week, not a big operation…EC
---------------------------------------

so you think if i email cuestix they may know of how much it cost retail? or you all think i may be wasting my time?

CX should definitely know. Contact them.

In case you didn't know, all the Schon cues that have the CX designation were made exclusively for Cuestix International.

i knew that all the CX cues were from Cuestix but this one is just a C , i think i figured that one out.. all the cues Bob Runde made were always just an R series.. and i believe all the cues Evan Clark made are a C series.. and i feel all the cues that Evan Clark made for Cuestix is just CX like you said..

i will email them when i get a chance..
