The page is wider than I'd like it..that is, I have to close my favorites column on the side in order to view these pages. How can I make these pages and the text columns narrower?

When I read a new post and want to return to the lists of threads I click on the back one page button on my browser and it returns me to the list of threads but...it now goes to the top of the page of threads and it seems to me it used to go back to the portion of the page that I was using. I don't like having to scroll down to find where I was in my viewing of the available threads. Can this be changed so that when I go back a page it will take me to the portion of the page where I left off?

Hmm, that is strange. I just clicked on 'new posts' and was reading a couple new ones. Whenever I hit 'back', I went right back to where I was in the list.

Not sure on the width issue.

I use Netscape Navigator 6.2 and I also go to the top of the list after clicking "back". Most annoying.
However, using IE, "back" returns me to where I was.

I will NOT switch to IE just to resolve this glitch.

One solution is to right click then left click on "open in new window". When you close the new window you return to where you were on the list of posts.

Troy...~~~ Faster also

Troy, I fought it for a long time. I refused to change to IE because I started with Netscape and felt it was a great program. I finally took a long hard look at both programs and gave in to the realization that IE was a better program. This was years ago though. Netscape may have gotten better.

I think it may be new and maybe an improvement, though I have not yet seen the improvement and find it cumbersome. That could be my fault as I am not very computer literate. I run my business with Quick Books and visit a few pool sites other than that I prefer the "other" world.

new appearance

i agree it looks great but is alot more cumbersome than helpful......really liked the old style as it was just alot more functional......juston

screen width issue

I am also having a problem with sceen width in this new format. I now have to scroll from side to side in order to view entire sentences in a post. This can be very annoying if someone happens to write a long post. I don't know what the solution is, but if someone can help me out, that would be great.
