quick ?

I shoot with one of my own cues and have for over 20 years. I know a very high end cuemaker who carries around a old Huebler Break jump cue and it is what he plays with. He only builds a couple of cues a year and people just keep throwing money on the table until he can't stand it and takes it everytime he has tried to keep one for himself.

LOL I have heard that about a few builders.

Personally, I have yet to play with a cue that fits me better than the cues I build for myself. I know exactly what I need & have the capabilities to make it happen, so why would I ever do something different? I do sometimes go out & play a tourney or so with cues I have in my collection. It's fun. But I can't stand it because they feel so alien to me. Like an old pair of underwear, my cue fits me so well it's unconcious like it's not even there.
