How quiet are these? I've never had chance to see one in the flesh.

When running full blast

much quieter than my klitchen blender. When dialed down for best cutting harmonics, it is so quiet I can take phone calls while sitting close by the machine. I have them on both my TS and CueMonster, even both at once is not annoying, nor do I need hearing protection. Now if I start up a Porter Cable router, look out! Now I need my ear muffs. And the NSK spindle they use on the QR is quite accurate as well. I have no regrets about having acquired them for my shop.
