Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a used table early to mid January. Assuming the table I have in mind is in good condition and I end up purchasing it, I would need it moved 290 - 300 miles then setup/installed. So a few questions...

1. What should I look/check for when inspecting the table? Its a fully assembled used 9' Diamond, if that makes a difference.

2. What should I expect to pay in moving/installation charges?

3. The table will be going in a non-climate controlled garage. I'm aware that constant ups/downs of temperature can lead to warping, but I only see this being an issue during seasonal changes, and minimal at that. Is this something I should be concerned about?

To get an accurate quote, we'll need to know what area the table is now and where you need it moved to. Since Diamond makes more than one model, and some are 1-piece slate and others are 3-piece, we'll need to know what model it is as that can make a big difference in who can move it and how much that will cost.

Heat and humidity changes definitely can affect the play/condition of the table. You may see some frame warp, since it is a wood product. The rubber might break down sooner. The cloth and rails might play different speeds on different days. Etc.
