Race to 1 for $500 Chang VS Mike Dechine

Sounds about right ....... No sense in blowing all your cash on someone you cant beat.

Earlier yesterday MD bested one of the young Taiwanese for 500 playing 10 ball giving the 9 and breaking with the magic rack.

He rolled it into a set with Johnny (Jung Lin) Chang getting 2 on 14. Mike played well and won again 14-12.

They tried to make another game for 1k but couldn't come to an accord. After much deliberation, Dechaine suggested they play a single rack for 500, flip for the break.

All parties agreed and Johnny won the flip. After a quick smoke, he returned to the table and promptly scratched on the break. MD took CB in hand and the rest is documented above.

After that escapade another game was not to be made, so Mike ended up 5 Bens winner.

mike's probably the most under-rated player on earth right now. if he got a finish job like the taiwanese factory puts on the players they pump-out, he'd be super scary.

what are the odds that the guy he played spends more time on the table in a week than mike does in a month?

F*ck that's strong! He made a little under what 2nd place would've gotten him in the Steinway Classic and with less effort!

Nvm, that's only $1,500 but still strong considering how strong the Taiwanese are.
