I guess its still illegal still to sell booze in a pool room in Jersey.
I think they still have no self serve gas stations either.
Strange state.
And I grew up there.
But I escaped in 1991.

My fav Jersey joke: Why did New Jersey end up with all the toxic waste dumps and New York the most lawyers??? Jersey got first choice.
 
The hall also offers darts, ping pong, quoits and table-top hockey, among other games.

Had to Google Quoits - I will save you the trouble - it is a game where you throw and ring on stick.

It is not illegal to have a bar and pool hall together. Liguor license in NJ is very expensive. In some towns as much a million dollars.
If there is no bar then you can byob. Some places will even allow you to use their cooler.
