Hey Guys,

I am trying to find a link for the different racking scenarios for the situations that come up when balls occupy the rack area at the end of a rack.

I would like to print it out for my Straight Pool League.

Thanks In Advance

That would be a useful chart to have during matches.

You might be best off just making your own. There are only a few possibilities. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong:

Both balls out of the rack - leave them where they lie

Both balls in the rack - rack 15 balls, CB behind the string

CB in the rack - leave the OB, CB behind the string

OB in the rack - leave the CB, OB on the head spot

OB in the rack AND CB obscuring the head spot - leave the CB, OB on the center spot

14th and 15th balls pocketed during the same shot, CB out of the rack - leave the CB, rack 15 balls

14th and 15th balls pocketed during the same shot, CB in the rack - rack 15 balls, CB behind the string

Did I miss any?

A clearer version can be found in the official rules which are available at:
http://www.wpa-pool.com/web/the_rules_of_play

Thanks so much, Mr. Jewett this is exactly what i was looking for !!!

thanks to everyone else as well for the contributions.

i knew what all the situations were, but wanted the official rules to give to all of the league players. this way hey can keep a copy in their case to help resolve any situation. and to save them from having to ask me while i am playing my league match.

Steve;

The is an IOS app that contains some great illustrations of all of the different racking situations with explanation. It is called "Billiard Rules".
