Pretty sure he was joking.

that use the Unilock Radial Pin as there main joint pin. Also, if any of them
use a wood to wood joint as well it would be helpful.
If any of these makers will be at the Valley Forge Expo in March 2008
please let me know.
Thanks for the help

including the Unilock Radial Pin. I just wanted some input from all the
people on here that might have some knowledge on the current cuemakers
that are using Radial Pins because I do not own a Radial Pin cue at the moment and I was thinking about buying one.
Thanks..............Paul
Murray wasn't being negative. He was being honest.samsarakid24 said:Yeah, Just don't understand why somebody always has to chime in with comments or remarks that have nothing positive to add to the post.

Absolutely nothing negative came from Mr. Tucker... and the fact that you have never heard of him, well, guess that says it all................samsarakid24 said:Yeah, I figured that Murray Tucker must not use a Radial Pin since he

You could duct tape two pieces of wood together and I bet a person could not tell it was duct tape.

A lot of the older SS jointed cues were truly SS which means there was a floating area on the inside of the SS ring and a piloted shaft. Some of these have excellent hit. My Frank Paradise is a perfect example..
Many people today though like the feel of the w2W and many of the so called SS jointed cues are actually w2w with a SS collar which does not have the same hit as the true piloted SS joints.....
Sorry to go off topic a little but I just wanted to clarify that...
RRfireblade said:Good clarification worth noting.
I think alot of people confuse the joint and the collar.
I however do believe that the amount of mass used in the collar 'area' does effect the natural resonance of the cue as a whole but that doesn't mean for good or bad. Just depends on what your feeling for and prefer.
