Hi,
Wondering if anyone has a copy of it that they have read and would loan out (with a deposit) to let me read and then Fed Ex back to you.
The prices are just so ridiculous on it.

Of course this only goes out to people who have read copies, not ones they are trying to sell.
Thanks everyone.

It is a real hard read. The writing is juvenile, the print job would never have made it out of a real print shop, much less past the publisher's eyes.

But the breakfast of champions is a secret to success.

Thanks. I figured I just wanted to read it or try to read it.

I am a very fast reader.

Only took me about 9mos, lol.

I can't say I regret reading it, it just wasn't on par with any of the other pool books I've read, but w.w..woody never claimed to be an author, he just had a story to tell.

And on the topic of woody and buddy...the great Mr. Fleming recently posted billy/ grady 1p match from roanoke (1995?). Buddy and woodyin the booth:

If I can find it, I’ll send it to you....I don’t need glasses to read...but I bought a pair of reading glasses for this one.
...it’s worth the read if you’re a pool player.
This may take some searching...I think she put a lot of books in storage.

It is by far the best and most enjoyable book I have ever read. I hated to have it come to end. Good luck finding one.

Need a microscope to read it. The copy i was loaned had smallest print in history. Almost qualifies as microfiche.

Get out your readers for sure!
What would be really nice but I'm not going to do it would be to break the book apart and scan it in higher font and then Buddy and author get money per book.
This issue of reprints gets brought up every once in awhile, any idea if things have changed on this front, or a scanned copy in pdf?

That font is incredibly small. I do have one of those floor magnifying readers.

It should have been in two volumes with increased font. If you like pool and stories of the road, it is a good read.

Strangest thing, my local library didn't have this volume...anybody know when it will be available on kindle? :ROFLMAO:
